Base Bowl:
1 block Mungfu red lentil tofu, cubed
½ cup shredded purple cabbage
¼ cup grated carrot
¼ cup sliced cucumber
¼ cup sliced radish
Handful of spinach or greens of choice
Sprinkle of pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds (optional)
2Tbsp Olive oil
🥣 Creamy Tahini Dressing:
2 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp maple syrup or honey
2–3 tbsp water (to thin to your liking)
1tsp olive oil
Fresh Mint Leaves(Optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Prepare Mungfu:
Cut Mungfu into cubes and pan-sear, grill, or air fry until golden on the edges in avocado.
- Chop Veggies:
Wash, slice, and prep all your fresh ingredients.
- Make Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, maple syrup/honey,, water - if required for consistency, olive oil and mint leaves until creamy.
- Assemble the Bowl:
Layer veggies and greens around the bowl like a rainbow.
Add Mungfu to the center or side.
Drizzle generously with creamy tahini dressing.
Top with seeds or herbs of choice for texture and flair.

Not exactly! Mungfu tofu is made from lentils and peas instead of soybeans. It has a mild flavor, is easier to digest for many people, and works beautifully in the same recipes you’d use regular tofu for—stir-fries, curries, scrambles, salads, and more. It is made from 2 ingredients lentils and salt.

We don’t add any synthetic stabilizers to our products and we don’t recommend freezing Mungfu tofu. Freezing changes the texture and may cause it to become crumbly or watery once thawed. For the best taste and consistency, keep it refrigerated and enjoy it fresh within 3–5 days of opening.

All Mungfu products are soy free, gluten free, dairy free and do not contain allergens. Our products are created in a facility that may process soy, nuts, gluten.

For the best taste and texture, we don’t recommend eating Mungfu tofu raw. Cooking—whether pan-frying, baking, grilling, or simmering—brings out its flavor and makes it even more delicious.
